Living in between
This particular project was created as a result of collaboration with a group of emigrants living in Ireland. Initially project was a video of emigrants, who talked about their life, changes, challenges which they had to face everyday in foreign country. Each participant could have brought some objects which were related to migration. After a few weeks project developed and became collection of photographs, objects, interesting and moving stories, letters, notebooks, which were transformed into collages.
It was an amazing journey with wonderful brave people.
One day I asked Sara about the time, she looked at her watch and started counting loud, then I asked her what was she doing…she answered that she had never set her watch to Irish time because it makes her feel closer to her family which she lives far away from…Sara had been living in Ireland for eighteen years then.
